Blue Wave Baseball of Irvine defeated the Arizona Desert Dawgs 11-7 to capture the 2006 Super Series Baseball Winter National Championship in the 11-and-under age division.

More than 200 teams from throughout the United States competed in the annual tournament that was held Dec. 27, 2006, through Jan. 3, 2007, in Phoenix and surrounding baseball parks in Peoria, Mesa , and Glendale , Arizona .
